I just thought the same as mandr79. When Time Machines are invented, this is where I will go first. Such a great time in life. I can still remember seeing all these commercials on Saturday mornings with my bowl of Frosted Flakes in hand. Just seeing and hearing these bring a large smile to my face. Thanks for the post!

ReplyDeleteI find it interesting, having watched to the end of the series and coming back, that at the start, they're really dependent on "buying" the kids' affection with toys, food, etc., but towards the middle and end, they start focusing more on playing with the kids and being affectionate, not always trying to bribe them with material objects. This, to me, shows they really did mature over the course of the show, acting more like real parents.

ReplyDeleteDaYoung has a hard time expressing her inner thoughts or feelings. Mir shouldn't have forced her to eat the food, it's bad to force someone when they don't like it. DaYoung is very young right now, she doesn't need to use a harsh method to her. She doesn't want to bring trouble to her appa and kept quiet. They keep on praising and focusing on Leo and Lauren, which DaYoung might be thinking: Aren't I doing the right one? Why are they praising them, and not me? I don't want to make any trouble...

ReplyDeleteI really really like how Joon took Leo to the thinking chair and explained and talked to Leo lol. He is such an adorable dad. All of them are and its so funny how Seungho is just there amused by everything lolololol
ReplyDeleteI don't think Dayoung deserves the nickname ice princess. She's just misunderstood because she can't/doesn't express what she's thinking. Lauren is perfect any way you look at it. Leo, on the other hand,...the kid is spoilt and has the appas wrapped round his little finger. And the worst thing is I think he knows the power he has and I think Joon is right in disciplining him.
