ReplyDeleteI think it was all a bit of self destruction button in the end with in the band. They were the biggest band on the planet 79/80 then drugs, bad management the arguing with in the band, Chris getting ill but hey they all come through and are all still here today Rock 'n' roll. Deb is looking and sounding better than ever on their sellout concerts and with more to come I believe in albums and concerts. I do think they are getting the recognition they rightly deserve now. R 'n' R Hall Of Fame etc..
ReplyDeleteNobody compares! Funny how watching this again I can still know that NOTHING compares to this song! Let alone the group's catalogue. It is like another planet that this came from. Debbie and the group had the greatest taste of anybody! It all shows in Blondie's tunes perfectly complemented. I wish they had been taken more seriously post 1981 they would have been the greatest band of all time
