Since he is completely blind (born without formed eyeballs) we gave him some balls with bells inside. As you can tell, he can "see" them by using his ears! He is such a happy and inspiring cat -- we are blessed to have him with us. Music provided by SMITH's CLOUD from Lincoln, Nebraska.     sooo sad ! My little brother loves animals&wants to be a pet doctor when he gets older and if he saw this he would just tear up .Glad too see Oskar is with a good home!

    Thanks for sharing. I think animals (unlike humans) adapt very well with disabilities. I adopted a kitten that was born without a right rear foot & she did not miss it at all. In fact, I think she was faster than the other 2 rescued kitties that were in the household. Prognosis from the vet was that he suspected Trixie would not live much beyond 2 years (she had some internal problems). Well, Trixie proved him wrong & lived 14 years!! She developed stomach cancer, so she had to be put asleep.

    I love how he acts like any other cat, and as long as he acts like a normal cat and is happy doing so I'm sure he will be one happy kitty forever. I think tha'ts what counts :)

    The kitten we got isn't blind, but it's still just as awesome. We found out first Momma kitten down by the creek all alone and mewing, we took her in and since then she had two litters, we kept one from the first litter we named her Sweety, the momma kitty I call her Ms. Mew. The second litter we kept a male kitten that time but sadly at 8 weeks he was hit by a car. We got another kitten a couple weeks ago named him Henry, my niece found him alone in a hole in the woods and we took him in.
