(25) THE WALL: Pink Floyd - The Trial

From the motion picture The Wall, by Pink Floyd. Song #25 (Disk 2) "The Trial" Create playlist to entire CD. Order number in title. Sorry, it's just that picture. Lyrics: Good morning, the Worm, your honour The crown will plainly show the prisoner who now stands before you was caught red handed showing feelings, Showing feelings of an almost human nature. This will not do... CALL THE SCHOOLMASTER I always said he'd come to no good, in the end, your honour. If they'd let me have my way I could have flayed him into shape. But my hands were tied, the bleeding hearts and artists let him get away with murder. Let me hammer him today. Crazy, toys in the attic, I am crazy Truly gone fishing They must have taken my marbles away Crazy, toys in the attic, he is crazy You little shit, you're in it. Now I hope they throw away the key. You should talked to me more often than you did, but no! You had to go your own way. Have you broken any homes up lately? Just five minutes, Worm, your honour, him and me alone Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabe Come to mother baby, let me hold you in my arms M'Lord I never wanted him to get in any trouble Why'd he ever have to leave me Worm, your honour, let me take him home Crazy, over the rainbow, I am crazy Bars in the window There must have been a door there in the wall .....when I came in Crazy, over the rainbow, he is crazy The evidence before the court is Incontrovertible, there's no need for the jury to retire. In all my years of judging I have never ...

  26. The truth is, we are not in control of life. Nature is in control and we react to it. The truth is the only thing that can set us free and help us live out of the animal mind. We must embrace our true nature and live as spiritual beings. This may sound weird at first, but check it out with your rational mind and be honest with yourself. There is one reality, one world for all of us. Write truth contest on google, click on the first link and read The Present if you seek truth.

  27. your own fkng mind is infested with their bullsht lies and you still eat it like as if it ever was meant to be truth.

    ReplyDelete
  28. this means that you have to defect and eliminate the infestation from your mind which does not belong because it only plays for the opposition because it was fooled when young and naive and if its unable to recognize who the real enemy is anymore then it needs to step down as a guiding force. What is right and wrong ? Who decides what I can and cannot do. Who decides if there should be a punishment or an apology. Who is more important to you me or them

    ReplyDelete
  29. Its about your own mind turning against you as a result of all the things that you have done and do that your mind believes is wrong because of what you were taught by your parents and idols when you were young and impressionable.

Yeah, but what I said is part of it. Anyway, take it from Roger Waters. The Wall is your own interpretation, you see what you want to see.

  31. That isn't what the wall is about

The wall is about somebody shutting themself off from the world and the dangers that that causes. It is SUPPORTIVE of being a socially active person, not the opposite.

this song made me question myself. i had the lyric sheet from the record in front of me and i didn't sing any of the lyrics until the last bit. "Tear down the Wall!" It made me question myself, and just how humane and individual i am, if i would follow crowds, or if i would take my own path.
