ReplyDeletei played with colorforms but that was in 1987!
ReplyDeleteI had a Tarzan Cartoon Kit. I remember the day my mother bought it for me. She said, "We're going to buy a very inexpensive thing!" (I think it cost $2.00, in those less inflationarily challenged times.) I also remember nearly losing its knife piece, and getting bored with the kit after a bit. But more memorable were the commercials for Monster Print Putty and the Miss Weather kit, which I never saw again until now! Thanks for the memories! (Do you know the name of the Miss Weather actress?)
ReplyDeleteI remember playing with the Miss Cookie's kitchen and Barbie sets....Damn, I'm old- but what great memories!
ReplyDeleteI spent hours and hours playing with colorforms -- they were my favorite, with the possible exception of spirograph!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Colorforms! As a kid and an adult. When I was little I had the Barbie Dress up set (show here), the All seasons Barbie dress up set, and an Incredible Hulk set. Now I have: GIJoe Adventure Team, Action Jackson, CHiPs, Planet Of The Apes, David Cassidy, Michael Jackson, Mork & Mindy and Star Trek. I also have more recent sets, like Toy Story, Rugrats Play Castle, Play House and Play set. My students love 'em!
