Here is the problem with Bewitched. Imagine if Darrin were a paraplegic
ReplyDeleteDarrin: I can't walk, so no one in my house can walk either! It's not normal to me, so walking shouldn't be normal to you!
Samantha: Yes, Darrin, you are the master of the house, so I will no longer walk although I've done it all of my life. I won't allow Tabatha to walk either, even though it is part of her normal development.
I don't mind Tabitha doing witchcraft. she's a kid and doesn't know better. but Endora promised no witchcraft infront of Tabitha. She deliberately taught Tabitha that spell. Endora is not Tabitha's mom or dad and shouldn't be teaching her grandaughter things that Darrin nor Samantha want their daughter to learn.
ReplyDeletethe rag doll is freakin creepy
ReplyDeleteYou can't fault her. She's one!!
ReplyDeleteIn fact that last epi long, live the queen, Sam didn't seem to have much trouble(without endora) getting darrin comftorable and willing to meet her half way, When she was queen of the witches, that counts for something! they may be not the most compatible, but they have good romantic chemistry
ReplyDeleteit seems for me endor is irritating sometimes, she is kinda prissy and self absorbed, and gets what she wants all the time at the expense of others. She gets samantha into so much trouble, i think darrens character has more of a problem with ppl with endora's personality than sam's.
ReplyDeleteEndora is AWESOME! I always loved her! :) wish she was my grandmother :)
ReplyDeleteDick Wilson appeared several times every season as a "drunk" (same characterization, different characters) who usually had the misfortune to witness whatever magic Sam was involved in...
ReplyDeleteAt 1:17,when Endora asks Tabitha about the teddy bear, you can see the doll moving. I suppose it's a mistake.
ReplyDeleteMr Whipple from the Charmin TV commercial as the drunk dude! LOL
ReplyDeleteTabitha is only 1 years old and Endora teaches her all these new spells, how is she supposed to know its all bad when someone keeps encouraging her to do it? Plus, Tabitha's a witch, it's part of who she is and they can't deny that forever.
ReplyDeleteshe should be allowed to do witchcraft. parents don't make a child stop doing a natural talent, like music. they shouldn't stop tabitha's natural talent, witchcraft.
ReplyDeleteoh, come on!!! she is cute. but i agree she does need discipline, but she is only 1 year old!!
ReplyDeleteAnd when will they learn to close the windows and curtains!
ReplyDeleteIs the best actress in this series? :)
ReplyDeleteWho thinks endora
ReplyDeleteThis is the absolutely FUNNIEST episode I've seen so far. "Max" deserved an award for his performance!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't particularlly like her disobedient behaviour but this little girl is one of the very few kids I can say I've ever liked. She's really pretty and cute.
ReplyDeleteyep, I'd say you are the only one
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who really dislikes Tabitha and thinks she really needs some discipline??
