Can you do a toddler baby toy video
ReplyDeleteI have done research on BPA, phthalate free PVC & safety standards in toys. After reading your comment, I did google "estrogen mimetics" and as I stated, could not find any research to back your claim. When you make a blanket statement that may scare people, the burdon of proof lies with you to provide sources, not for me to search through Google. Being a medicine (sic) student as you stated, I expect that you would want to provide a link to scientific data to back up your statements.
ReplyDeleteAs I said before: I am not judging anyone. I gave you enough information on what to read about, so I am sure if you want to read it, you will find sources (google). Look after the curtain of "safety" labels. And maybe you are even right and none of it are actually bad.
ReplyDeleteI would like to point out that of the 14 toys I mention in my video, less than half are plastic. The rest are fabric, wood or recycled materials. Also, the products that ARE plastic meet all of the safety standards required for infant toys. Many of them are specifically BPA, lead and phthalate free. I take the safety of my child very seriously, as I'm sure many of my viewers do. I'd appreciate you siting the sources of your claims as I have not been able to find anything to substantiate them.
ReplyDeleteplastic plastic plastic -.- babys chewing plastic from age 1, and then people are asking themselves why there is such a high rate of sterility among human race.. read about negative effects of plastic on (not just!!) babys and it will change your mind. Read about estrogen mimetics in plastic and what they can cause. I am not writing this to scare or judge anyone, i am a medicine student so i want to give people the real right to choose and that is with knowledge. I wish all of you healthy lives.
ReplyDeleteThese are all toys my son enjoyed from around 9 months to now (16 months.)
ReplyDeleteI've added the ages recommended by the manufacturer to the description under the video. We often let our son play with toys older for his age, but make sure we watch him closely when he does so and take away any small parts he could choke on. Some parents are comfortable not following recommended ages of toys to a T, and some follow the recommendations more closely. It's all up to what you are comfortable with.
what would be the age groups for these toys?
